Sclerotherapy (Spider Veins)
A targeted treatment to improve the appearance of visible spider veins on the legs, through the injection of a solution that acts directly on the affected vessel, encouraging its gradual reabsorption.
When it may be recommended
- Visible, branching spider veins (telangiectasia) on legs and thighs
- A wish to even out the appearance of the skin on the legs
When it requires careful evaluation
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Clotting disorders or ongoing anticoagulant therapy
- Significant venous conditions not yet assessed
